Specified Nonprofit Corporation Shapla Neer Citizens’ Committee in Japan for Overseas Support
Shapla Neer is not affiliated with any particular religion, government, or business. Created with ordinary citizens in mind, it is an international NGO that operates based on membership fees and donations. In order to help alleviate poverty in Bangladesh, Nepal, and India (West Bengal State), Shapla Neer strives to continue providing comprehensive rural development, emergency disaster relief, reconstruction aid, and more for the “economically left-behind.” These include street children, child laborers, women, the elderly, the disabled, and indigenous peoples.
